About us

The sales and management staff at Novobuild have been involved in the steel shed industry since 1989. In 1992 they joined Ranbuild as it increased its range of building products to include domestic garages and carports. In 1995 the staff took over the Bennett's Green factory display site at Lake Macquarie near Newcastle and formed Novobuild.

Novobuild refurbished the display to include a wider range of garages, workshops and rural buildings and incorporate a sales office. The site became the benchmark for future outlets as Ranbuild spread its customer base and appointed new distributors all around Australia.

In 2000, Novobuild created a new display village at 299 Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae near Raymond Terrace, NSW to service Newcastle and the Hunter Region. After Ranbuild became part of Lysaght in 2005 and manufacturing moved to their factories, the Bennett's Green plant and display site was closed and redeveloped.

Since 1995, Novobuild have supplied over 5000 buildings to happy customers all around Australia. Many customers have come back for more as their business grows or they relocate.

Novobuild have won several awards over the years, but their most memorable was winning the Australian Steel Institute award for excellence in customer service in the steel industry.
