Farm Sheds

No one makes a bigger, stronger range of farm sheds and rural buildings than Ranbuild.

The fully bolted, back to back galvanised steel frame is what makes Ranbuild Covermaster sheds outperform and outlast other types of construction. You won't find a better design or product to resist rust, fire or termites in isolated rural locations.

Ranbuild started in 1949 as a farm shed manufacturer. With over 60 years experience in the steel building industry, Ranbuild know how to get it right the first time. All steel components are supplied cut to length with the frame members and cleats already punched. Holding down bolts, steel to steel bolts, nuts and fasteners are sorted and packed in lots in a solid container for secure shipping.

Hay Sheds. The most economical way to cover and protect valuable fodder and hay is to use a low pitch skillion style roof of around 5 degrees. This design incorporates the design and economy of the monoslope buildings, but with wider spans to cover larger areas. You won't find permanent lower cost per bale protection anywhere.

Monoslope Buildings. In areas below the snow line, the economical monoslope roof range is ideal for small farm workshops and storage sheds up to 12m span. They can be constructed as open or enclosed, or with a combination of open and enclosed bays.

Add windows and doors, a skylight or internal partition wall. Choose a cladding profile and a colour from the Lysaght COLORBOND ® range. In fact, at Novobuild we tailor standard buildings to fit your special needs. All you have to do is tell us what you want. Our building sizes page lists the full range of shed spans and heights. Our colours page also shows the twenty cladding colours that are available.

Gable Roof Sheds. Galvanised steel frame buildings partly or fully enclosed. Models include lock-up workshops, machinery sheds, hay sheds, and hangars. The standard roof pitch across the range is 10 degrees, however a steeper 26 degree option is available for spans up to and including 12m.

Gable roof sheds are also ideal for on-farm processing buildings such as cotton gins, shearing sheds, fruit and vegetable packing sheds. There are also barns, stables and shelters for feedlots and livestock housing. As with all farm sheds, guttering and down pipes to ground level are included as standard unless nominated otherwise.

Storage Sheds. The Ranbuild Covermaster building series is one of the most versatile sheds on the market. They can be shaped and modified in ways to make them suitable for all sorts of farming activities. Many are used for storeage, processing or cellar door sales on vineyards.

Optional extras for all farm sheds include skylights, access doors and windows. You also have the choice of an awning on one or both sides, insulation and ventilation. Roller doors up to 4m wide are available or sliding doors with openings up to 7.6m wide.

Big Sheds. Broadacre farmers laugh at garage companies trying to sell stretched garages as farm sheds. When you've got big machines to cover, you want wide bays, deep spans and high clearances. Sheds such as Ranbuild Covermasters and Cottonmasters are real farm sheds for real farmers. They are big and tough and just get on with the job day in and day out.

Novobuild can also supply several other variations of Ranbuild sheds for rural applications. For example, pump sheds offer protection to valuable pumping equipment and electronic controls. Chemstors keep farm chemicals in a specially ventilated and secure enclosed building.
